Tonight, the Cosmos begin their playoffs with a match against the Elm City Express. From here on out it's win or go home.
In their final match of the regular NPSL season, New York finished unbeaten and untied with a 4-0 victory over Kingston Stockade FC, led by a hattrick from Bledi Bardic. Despite their regular season success, the Cosmos know that none of that matters without a successful playoff run.

The Elm City Express are no strangers to the big show themselves, having won the NPSL Championship last season. In this year’s NPSL regular season, they finished 4th in the Northern Atlantic Conference. As with everyone else in the conference, they lost to Cosmos B. New York stunned The Champions 5-0 in their first match, but the Express find themselves in a position to extract revenge tonight.
Even though the Cosmos may have won big in the regular season, they have to stay vigilant in the playoffs. This week, Jonathan Borrajo talked about the importance of not being complacent in the playoffs:
A win against Elm City would see the Cosmos playing another match with a home field advantage on Saturday at Commisso Stadium. Head Coach Carlos Mendes describes the importance of playing at home:
Four @NYCosmosB members have been nominated for the North Atlantic Conference XI.
