Today Cosmos B approach the end of their NPSL Season when they match up against Hartford City FC.
The Cosmos continued their steamroll season last week against reigning NPSL Champions Elm City Express. Woteck Wojcik and Darwin Espinal kicked off the scoring in the first half. Danny Stezela’s penalty kick and goals from Bledi Bardic and Ivan Berterame put the Express away in the second half.

The next victim on New York’s NPSL tour is Hartford City FC. Hartford, a potential playoff opponent for the Cosmos, are doing pretty well in the NPSL this campaign. In their last three matches, Hartford drew New York Athletic Club, beat Greater Lowell, and lost to the Rhode Island Reds. The Cosmos will have a fine tune-up for the playoffs in this one.
In preparing for this match Cosmos B scimaged local side New York Rough Riders. They also have signed Travis Pittman, who featured for the 2015 NPSL Champion Cosmos B side.
Training was a little bit different today.

Featured this week on the Cosmos’ official site is John Neeskens, who is lauded for his set piece ability and leadership in the backline. Neeskens’ NPSL champion experience, leadership, and skill have been instrumental to the Cosmo’s undefeated campaign.
