The World Cup may be starting this weekend, but the Cosmos keep marching on with their NPSL campaign. They may not be heading to Russia, but tomorrow they will be traveling up to Maine to face the Seacoast United Mariners.

Last week, the Cosmos defeated New York Athletic Club 4-1 at Rocco Commisso Stadium with a brace from Danny Szetela leading the way, and goals from Wojtek Wojick and Johnny Sanchez adding to the total. The win keeps Cosmos B undefeated and untied in NSPL competition with a seven game winning streak. The Cosmos have also picked up Defender Ryan Adeleye, who will be available for selection tomorrow.

New York’s opponent, the Seacoast United Mariners, have not been having the greatest of NPSL campaigns as they have yet to find a win. In their most recent match, they were defeated 4-0 by New York Athletic Club.
Defender Garrett Halfhill could be a key performer to tomorrow’s match. Featured on the Cosmos’ official site this week, Halfhill talks about taking some time off from the game, before coming back and playing for FC Cincinnati and then the New York Cosmos. He discusses the pride defenders have in achieving a shutout:
Halfhill and the rest of the Cosmos kick off against Seacoast United tomorrow at 3pm in Maine.
