Starikov trialed with #MNUFC last season and many Loonatics wanted to sign him. https://t.co/fkao3DNCAw— Left Shark with the Good Hair (@MonsieurCRay) February 6, 2018
Ayoze is pure class, on and off the field. Congrats on this one, Indy. Enormous addition. https://t.co/omnJhemhRv— Dave Martinez (@DaveMartinezNY) February 6, 2018
Starikov joined the Cosmos last preseason, finding his way into the team after an impressive preseason tour with New York. He recorded 4 goals and 1 assist in 25 appearances with New York. His skill, work rate, and tenacity will be missed by the Cosmos.
This double swoop, especially to a former NASL rival is definitely a bitter pill to swallow for Cosmos fans, as New York’s playing situation remains up in the air.
