The Cosmos have an opportunity to turn their Fall Season around tomorrow when they face league leaders the Miami FC.

New York, winless in their last five matches, are having some of their worst form in recent memory. Their most recent win, however, was against Miami FC to open up the Fall Season. The Cosmos will have reinforcements, however, with Juan Arango finally available for selection, and David Diosa returning from injury. Andres Flores who scored two matches ago and was named Man of the Match in the team’s most recent could be a major factor against Miami as well. Hopefully, the return of these two stars can give New York the shot in the arm that they need to turn their Fall Season around. With NCFC only a point out of the Cosmos’s fourth place and the Cosmos final playoff spot, New York are in desperate need of results here.

A return to form in the Fall Season is possible, especially because Miami FC have done it themselves. Since we’ve last seen and beat the league leaders, Miami FC was eliminated from the US Open Cup by FC Cincinnati and lost their next league game, but then won the next five in a row. In such a small time in such a small league fortunes can easily be overturned.

1.Stéfano Pinho 11
2.Vincenzo Rennella 10
3.Lance Laing 8
4.Jack Blake 7
5.Justin Braun 7
Maimi will be looking to hit the Cosmos where it hurts with the continued form of Stefano Pinho. The forward currently is in pole position in the golden boot race, passing his injured teammate Vincenzo Rennella. Especially with first team center back duo Dejan Jakovic and David Ochieng out on international duty, New York, whose goal difference currently sits as zero, will have to be wary of Miami’s dangerous attack.
Match Prediction
Frankly, it’s pretty hard to not pick Miami in this one. However, when these two teams play it’s incredibly entertaining and anything is possible. Hopefully, the Cosmos prove me wrong tomorrow: I got 2-0 Miami
