FC Edmonton

Tomi Ameobi doesn’t just challenge himself on the field, but he accepts a different kind of challenge of the field as well. Both Ameobi and Puerto Rico defender Ramón Soria use their time off the field to study law. Soria actually notes that he received a license to become a lawyer in Spain.

Indy Eleven

Indy still sit in last place on the NASL standings. They made a push back in their recent fixture against North Carolina FC, defeating them 1-0. New signing Paulo Junior had an impressive debut for the Eleven with his noted pace to beat defenders.

Jacksonville Armada FC

Nothing really new from the Armada this week. You can catch the preview and recap for their upcoming contest against the Originals right here on Twice A Cosmo.

Miami FC

Miami and most of the Florida area have had to cancel matches as a result of the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma. This week, Miami FC announced that they’ll be donating $20,000 to hurricane relief efforts.

Also, forward Jamie Chávez and defender Blake Smith made the Team of the Week, just in case you wanted to know.

North Carolina FC

NCFC continues to build a sublime youth academy. The clubs went 8-2-3 with a notable 8-1 victory over the NC Fusion U-14 side. Keep an eye on this squad in years to come.

North Carolina also came off a 3-0 win over FC Edmonton. As a result, six players from NCFC were named to the Team of the Week.

Puerto Rico FC

Take a look at this touching video from the NASL on PRFC forward Giuseppe Gentile who hopes to raise awareness to end childhood cancer.

Defender Seth Moses also got a chance to describe why he loves playing for Puerto Rico. Moses has been in impressive form as of late.

San Francisco Deltas

Nothing new from the Deltas this week.
