Yesterday the New York Cosmos had the honor of ringing the closing bell of the Nasdaq in honor of the team’s promotions for Autism Awareness month. Portions of the Cosmos ticket sales for tonight’s match against the Aramada will be going to Life’s Worc and Autism Speaks. Watch a video of the closing ceremony below:

Wall Street wasn’t the only place the Cosmos were yesterday. Kyle Zobeck and Eric Calvillo were attended the New York Auto Show as representatives of the Cosmos.

It’s really nice to see the Cosmos organization stepping up for great causes as well as making themselves more visible throughout the city. Hopefully campaigns like these will help the team acquire new fans and help keep the momentum going twenty one days after their opener in Coney Island.
