The Cosmos seemingly aren’t to be on the best terms with kit sponsor Under Armour right now. Fans on Twitter have been quick to point out that in promotional material for the Cosmos’ upcoming season, the Under Armor logo has been covered up:

It is currently unknown why this change may have been made. It’s possible the club’s new ownership may be renegotiating their kit rights. We also can’t rule out that the fact that the Cosmos may be looking to distance themselves from Under Armour due to CEO Kevin Plank’s recent comments of support for Trump.
In addition to athletes such as Steph Curry, Misty Copeland, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the chairman of second-division club FC St. Pauli Oke Gӧttlish spoke out against the stance of their kit sponsor’s CEO:
