After New York’s 4-1 midweek win against PRFC, they find themselves in an advantageous position going into their match against the Jacksonville Armada. In order to book their tickets to the playoffs, all New York has to do is take care of business. With a two-point lead over the Armada in both the Fall and Combined standings, a win all but seals the Cosmos’ 4th place spot.

With the combination of the Cosmos’ win and their own 1-1 draw against FC Edmonton, Jacksonville finds themselves on the outside looking in. The Armada need a win, or at the very least a draw, to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Armada will need all hands on deck, especially from stars Jack Blake and Zack Steinberger in order to get all three points.
Match Prediction
Just win baby win! New York knows the implications of the match. Even all the highs and lows of the Fall Season, I think the Cosmos will be able to get the job done and book their tickets to the playoffs. Jacksonville has yet to lose against the Cosmos this year, but I think the nerves will get to them tomorrow. 1-0 Cosmos in a professional, but nerve-wracking win.
