The New York Cosmos made it two in a row on Saturday, defeating Miami FC in convincing fashion in the first ever meeting between the two sides. The defending NASL champions saw Juan Arango, Gabriel Farfan, and Jairo Arrieta find the back of the net, and cruised to an easy 3-0 victory.
The victory, combined with the other results from the weekend sees New York return to the top of the table, due to a better goal difference than Carolina currently has. Minnesota United sits just two points behind, as well, with a game in hand over both the Cosmos and RailHawks.
While both the RailHawks and Loons will play at home next weekend, the boys in green and white will face a tricky road fixture, making the long trip up north to face FC Edmonton. With an luck. Gio Savarese's group will keep banging in the goals, keeping the pressure on their closest rivals to keep winning as well.
