NASL announces television partnership with beIN Sports

For weeks we've been hearing rumors that the North American Soccer League was on the verge of signing a new television deal, with both beIN Sports and CBS mentioned as possible partners. On Wednesday morning, the league made their new partner official, introducing beIN Sports as the league's newest broadcast partner.

BeIN is currently the American home to La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue 1 in addition to the English League Cup and many international matches. While the network isn't available in as many homes as FS1, NBCSN, or ESPN, it's quite a bit more accessible than ONE World Sports, the home of the New York Cosmos, and the league's other television partner.

The network will be airing at least one match per week for the entire 2016 season, and will have four weeks during the fall season in which they feature a midweek contest, in addition to a weekend fixture. The full beIN NASL schedule is as follows:

Absent from beIN's coverage of the NASL are the New York Cosmos, whose matches will all be shown exclusively on ONE World Sports. The club has also confirmed that there will be streams available for those without access to the network, ensuring that all Cosmos fans will be able to watch every match this season, if they so choose.
