United States vs. Colombia, Olympic Qualifying: How to watch, television, and streaming

Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

Unlike the senior side, the United States U-23 side have every reason to be thinking positively entering Tuesday night. After fighting for a 1-1 draw in the first match of a two-legged qualifier in Colombia, the Stars and Stripes are now in a great position to qualify for the Olympic games in Rio.

The U-23's qualifying campaign is not without parallels to what is currently happening with the senior side, as things looked very bleak after the US went out against Honduras in the CONCACAF semifinals. The team then had to defeat Canada just to earn the matchup with Colombia, which they then need to win in order to avoid missing the games for a second cycle in a row.

Fortunately, with the away goal rule in effect, this puts the US in a good position at home, where a scoreless draw or victory by any margin will be enough to see them through. The match will be following the US vs. Guatemala match on ESPN2, and while no New York Cosmos players will be involved in this one, either, there's every reason to think that much of the fanbase will have an interest in watching

Here's what you need to know ahead of the second leg:

Date/Time: Tuesday, 9:20 p.m. ET, 9:20 pm Eastern

Venue: Toyota Stadium, Frisco, Texas

Television: ESPN2

Streaming: Watch ESPN
