For week, we've heard rumors that the North American Soccer League was closing in on a national television deal, with most outlets indicating that the deal would be with CBS. On Monday, Bob Williams of The Telegraph is confirming that a deal is very close, but that it's not likely to wind up being with the broadcaster we had been hearing about recently.
#breaking Have just heard that @naslofficial is about to sign a TV deal with @beINSPORTSUSA (not sure what happened to @CBSSports)

beIN is the American home to La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue Un. They also hold the rights to the English League Cup, and have for quite a few years.
In general, beIN does a fine job with their production, though being forced to listen to Ray Hudson every week would likely make me vomit in my mouth. One can only hope that the commentary doesn't include the former Rowdies man, though I'd be surprised if that was the case.
Regardless of who is doing the commentary, however, it will be nice to see the NASL in more homes for the 2016 season.
