As the club continues to figure out their league situation and look for potential new owners, former Cosmos are figuring out their own situations. Jairo Arrieta has become the first to find a new home as he returns to his native country of Costa Rica. Over the weekend, the striker confirmed via twitter that he has signed with Herediano.
Agradecido con Dios por este nuevo reto, desde hoy soy un Herediano más,y daré lo mejor de mí por estos colores. pic.twitter.com/rX2EPWkJZ6

Midfield Danny Szetela seems to be returning to the NASL. After being rumored to with NYCFC, Szetela confirmed in an interview with Big Apple Soccer that he was close to signing with an unnamed NASL team. A report from Empire of Soccer claims that team is the brand-new San Francisco Deltas.
Although it may be a little sad to see two of the hardest working Cosmos find new teams, we can’t help but be happy that they’re finding new teams. Szetela signing with the Deltas makes it look like the NASL may not be dead after all; either that or the Deltas may move to USL too. Congrats to Arietta and Szetela on finding new clubs and good luck to them in the future!
