The New York Cosmos 2016 schedule was released on Thursday, but the club wasn't done announcing fixtures just yet. In addition to releasing both the spring and fall schedules, the club has confirmed that they'll be facing off against USL side Charleston Battery on Saturday, March 19.

For the Cosmos, this gives them four confirmed preseason matches. The club will be playing a trio of matches in California this March, and now one in South Carolina two weeks before the season kicks off. It seems logical to assume that the club will still be announcing at least several more friendlies, as having just a single contest within a month of the season kicking off doesn't seem like a very intelligent plan.
Given that the club is staying in the United States for four matches already, I'd be a bit surprised to see them announce anything similar to what they did last spring, when they took a tour of Asia. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, however.
