New York Cosmos to train on the Intrepid

On Tuesday, September 8th, the New York Cosmos will be shaking their training routine up a bit. The boys in green will be hosting a unique training session on the deck of the Intrepid, inviting members of the military to come watch the club practice.

In addition to the session on the Intrepid, the Cosmos will be honoring our military and first responders in their next home match, against Jacksonville Armada FC, on September 12 at Hofstra. Heroes Night will give active and retired military and first responders a chance to watch the Cosmos for free. If you're interested in donating tickets to help out the cause, the club has three different options available via their website.

The training session ought to be interesting, and I'm sure it's a first for all of the players who will be in attendance next Tuesday. As always, it's great to see the club giving back to the community.
