The New York Cosmos have reached the fifth round of the US Open Cup for the second straight year, and on Wednesday, can reach the quarterfinals for the first time in the club's history with a victory over the New York Red Bulls. Thus far, they're unbeaten in matches against New York MLS clubs, defeating NYCFC on penalties two weeks ago, and knocking off the Red Bulls in the same tournament last year by a 3-0 scoreline.
Last season's match saw both the Cosmos and Red Bulls using somewhat makeshift starting lineups, and both sides look to have selected a stronger group this season. Here's the unit Gio Savarese will use on Wednesday night, with several surprise omissions:

Here's hoping the boys in green can make it three straight wins over their New York rivals this evening, and set up a rematch with the Philadelphia Union.
