Minnesota United vs. New York Cosmos: Preview and how to watch

New York Cosmos

The New York Cosmos play their ninth game of the North American Soccer League spring season on Saturday, and if results go their way, they can find themselves lifting the spring season title following the game. A win and a Tampa Bay loss would mathematically clinch the title, though regardless of the result of the Tampa game, a Cosmos win alone would leave the Rowdies with virtually no chance of overtaking New York due to goal difference, and the total goals scored by the boys in green.

With that in mind, coach Gio Savarese will want to get the result the club needs this evening, to put the spring season title chase to bed before departing for Havana. Here's what you need to know ahead of tonight's match:

Opponent: Minnesota United FC, currently second with 12 points from seven matches.

Venue: NSC Stadium, Blaine, MN

Date/Time: Saturday, May 30 at 8:00 pm ET

Forecast: Cool and dry, no chance of rain.

Television and streaming: As is the case with all of the Cosmos NASL matches, ONE World Sports will televise this one live. You can also stream the match on ONE's website, and those with access to ESPN 3 can watch the Minnesota broadcast team in action.

Watch party: The club will host a viewing party at The Football Factory, located at 6 west 33rd in Manhattan.
