During his regular Tuesday conference call, New York Cosmos head coach Gio Savarese had updates on several Cosmos players ahead of Saturday's match against the Indy Eleven. Fortunately, the news was mostly good on the injury front, and two players that were subbed out of the win against Fort Lauderdale should be available this weekend.

Savarese confirmed after Saturday's match that Raul had been taken off due to a bit of tightness in his hamstring. After undergoing an MRI earlier on Tuesday, the Cosmos medical staff has cleared the Real Madrid legend to return to full training on Wednesday. The striker will be free to travel this weekend, assuming there are no setbacks during training.

Left back Ayoze was also removed from the victory over the Strikers, with a minor groin issue. He's already back in full training however, and should be fine to face the Eleven.

It's a good thing that Ayoze is available, as the boys in green are still going to be thin at the back for at least one more match. Hunter Freeman is still a few weeks away from full training, while Samuel Caceres isn't expected back in New York with a visa until the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed that everyone stays healthy.
