Raul, Caceres available for Atlanta, Freeman, Zobeck still out

Gio Savarese gave an injury update during his weekly conference call on Tuesday, and there weren't many surprises on the injury front. Two Cosmos players will still be out when the club travels to Atlanta this weekend, while a new face is available to be added to the mix if selected.

Hunter Freeman has returned to training, but isn't expected to return until the Cosmos next home match, against the Ottawa Fury, in Brooklyn. Kyle Zobeck is also still on the shelf, though when he'll be available to return is far less certain.

One of Brian Holt or Keasel Broome will replace Zobeck in the eighteen, though Jimmy Maurer is still a lock to start against his former club. It's possible that Hunter Gorskie will continue to deputize for Freeman, though Savarese noted that Samuel Caceres will be available this weekend if selected. Who starts on the right of the Cosmos defense will certainly be an interesting decision to watch.

Finally, it looks as if Raul will be available to face Atlanta on Saturday, and if fit, he seems like a lock to start.
