Indy Eleven 1 - New York Cosmos 1: Highlights

The New York Cosmos dropped their first points of the 2015 season on Saturday, being forced to settle for a draw with the Indy Eleven. The Cosmos controlled possession throughout the match, though a miscue from goalkeeper Jimmy Muarer put them behind going into the halftime break.

The boys in green began to turn that possession into chances during the second half, forcing Kristian Nicht into several very good saves before Raul headed home a Walter Restrepo cross to pull New York level. Both Nicht and Maurer made key stops as the clock wound down, though in the end, the Eleven likely feel better about the draw than the Cosmos do.

Up next for New York will be the Tampa Bay Rowdies at home, where local fans will get their first live look at the new signings in action. The Rowdies are off to an excellent start, dismantling the San Antonio Scorpions in their opener, before playing to a scoreless draw with Minnesota United.
