On Thursday, Miami FC announced a trio of signings ahead of their inaugural North American Soccer League campaign. The club confirmed that they have reached agreements with all of Dane Richards, Jaime Chavez and Wilson Palacios, along with giving us a look at what the players will be wearing in 2016.

The biggest name of the trio is definitely Palacios, who has spent the better part of the past decade playing Premier League football in England. Richards has been a regular here in the United States, most recently giving the Cosmos problems while with Indy Eleven, also spending time in New York with the Red Bulls before that.
The third signing, Chavez, is less of a household name, and will be joining Miami from the Atlanta Silverbacks. Like many Silverbacks' players, Chavez's route to the NASL came through Cal FC, the former home of Eric Wynalda.
Miami certainly looks to be following in the footsteps of Florida's other NASL teams, spending what it takes to bring in established talent, in hopes of winning quickly. It will be awfully interesting to see how this season unfolds, and who they fill out their squad with.
