Roversio available again as Cosmos face must-win match, Adam Moffat still out

New York Cosmos head coach Gio Savarese spoke to the media on Tuesday, and among the topics for discussion was the fitness of his squad. On that front, there's good news for the boys in green, as Roversio is back, and looks like he'll be fully fit again before the season comes to a close.

Roversio is possibly the most important player in the squad, as can be seen by looking at the club's defensive record with and without him. When healthy, the Cosmos look far more composed in the back, and their transition from attack to defense just looks more fluid. Getting him a few minutes ahead of the NASL playoffs would be a massive development for the club, and should really improve the Cosmos' chances of lifting the NASL crown.

Savarese confirmed that the side was still without one key player, however, as Adam Moffat continues to be unavailable. Fortunately, both Marcos Senna and Danny Szetela are healthy and available, but should one or both of that pair be injured or suspended, Moffat's absence could be felt.
