The New York Cosmos have an opportunity to go to the top of the NASL combined table on Sunday, when they take on FC Edmonton. It's a pivotal match for both sides, with the Cosmos chasing a potential home match in the NASL final, with the Eddies needing a strong finish to the season in order to earn the final playoff spot.
The match will kick off at 5:00 pm ET, and as with all home Cosmos' matches, will be televised on ONE World Sports, and streamed live on their website. Head coach Gio Savarese has opted to go with the following lineup, the strength of which demonstrates just how important this match is to the home side:

Meanwhile, Edmonton is a bit shorthanded due to international duty, and will line up as follows:
#FCEd Starting XI: VanOekel; Zebie, Watson, Moses, Smith; Edward, de Freitas, Corea, Raudales, Nonni; Ameobi. #NYCvFCE

#FCEd Substitues: Tyson Farago, Ritchie Jones, Daryl Fordyce, Pablo Cruz, Frank Jonke. #NYCvFCE

With any luck, the Cosmos will be clinical today, jumping back atop the table, and making up some of the gap in goal difference, which could be a very important tiebreaker in the next few weeks.
