The New York Cosmos had two players in the final United States U17 camp, ahead of the 2015 World Cup in Chile. Both of those players, Haji Wright and Alexis Velela, have been named to the final roster to represent the US at the tournament.

Both Wright and Velela were signed this season, and have spent time working with Gio Savarese and the first team. It will be a lot of fun for Cosmos' fans to watch the pair in action in Chile, where both are expected to play a major role. The tournament kicks off for the pair on October 17, with the following group stage matches scheduled:
- October 17, 2015, 4 PM ET, United States vs. Nigeria
- October 20, 2015, 4 PM ET, United States vs. Croatia
- October 23, 2015, 7 PM ET, United States vs. Chile
