The Jacksonville Armada and Carolina RailHawks have both made roster moves in the past 24 hours, each adding a new striker to their attack. They took very different approaches in doing so, however, with the RailHawks looking to an NASL rival, while the Armada looked overseas for help.
Carolina announced on Tuesday the addition of Simone Bracalello, who spent the past five seasons with Minnesota United. The 29-year old Italian brings a wealth of experience in the league, though he's become more of a role player over the past several seasons with the additions of Christian Ramirez and Pablo Campos.
Jacksonville announced Wednesday morning the addition of striker Alhassane Keita, who spent the past season playing in the Swiss Super League. Before that, the 31-year old had spells in the Middle East and in Spain, as well as making a dozen caps for the Guinea national team. Keita is best know for his explosive speed, which still appears to be there at the age of 31.
