Rowdies continue rebuild, add former Strikers center back

Tampa Bay has been overhauling their roster this winter, and continued the rebuild on Tuesday by poaching a player from their biggest rival. Stefan Antonijevic has spent his entire professional career with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, but will be making the move to the Rowdies for the 2015 season.

Antonijevic gives head coach Thomas Rongen a bit of a selection headache, as he's the third starting caliber center back that the club have signed this offseason. The 25-year old stands 6'6" tall, and is a huge asset fortheclub both attacking and defending set pieces.

Despite the headaches so much depth could cause Rongen, Tampa Bay looks to have a very solid defensive unit in place well before the season gets underway. If the unit clicks and the Rowdies can strengthen their attack in the same way they've solidified the defense, they could be a team to watch in 2015, both in NASL play and the U.S. Open Cup.
