Tampa Bay makes another signing, this time to help their attack

Since announcing that the club had signed Thomas Rongen to take over as its head coach, the Tampa Bay Rowdies have put an emphasis on shoring up their defense. They've signed a new holding midfielder, a pair of center backs, and a right back already, but the club started 2015 with the addition of a new attacker to the group.

The Rowdies announced the addition of 21-year old Robert Hernandez on Thursday, a Venezuelan born midfielder who can also operate on both wings. Hernandez is pretty generously listed at 5'5" tall, but his speed and agility make him a difficult player to mark despite the small frame.

Hernandez has played the past for seasons for Deportivo Anzoategui, and has also been capped by the Venezuelan U20 national team. How he'll adapt to the North American Soccer League will be an interesting story to watch during the 2015 season, and makes the Rowdies an even more intriguing opponent than they already were.
