The Cosmos host Minnesota United on Saturday in what could prove to be one of the decisive games of their season. At the moment, the Cosmos are still somewhat comfortably in third place of the combined NASL table, meaning they'd be in line for a guaranteed playoff place regardless of who wins the fall title. That said, taking only eight points form their first seven games of the fall season has left them in danger of having some high pressure games during the run in, so three points on Saturday night against the league's top team would go a long way toward keeping things comfortable.
Gio Savarese mentioned on Tuesday that the delays in the Atlanta game caused his squad all sorts of problems in the buildup to last weekend's loss, but that the club had no such issues this week. He has made a few changes to the team that faced Tampa though, and has selected the following lineup for tonight's game:

Here's hoping the change up top allows the Cosmos to finish some chances, and that the club manages to take maximum points. If you aren't attending, the game is being streamed live on both NASL Live and ESPN3, where it's been selected as the match of the week.
