The Cosmos have won two of their first three matches, but a win tonight will assure that they can go level on points with the league leaders next week when they face Minnesota United at home. The Cosmos lost their first trip to Carolina since rejoining the NASL, their only loss of the 2013 fall campaign. They'll look to improve upon that performance tonight.
Gio Savarese hasn't changed too much, but he has opted for the physical presence of Joseph Nane as opposed to a second striker. The manager has selected the following lineup for this one:
