Carolina RailHawks vs. New York Cosmos: Preview, streaming, viewing parties, forecast, and more

New York looks to return to winning ways tonight

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

Before last weekend's loss to the San Antonio Scorpions, the only time the modern New York Cosmos had lost a game was during their first trip to Carolina. They'll head south to take on the RailHawks for the first time this season on Saturday, and will look to keep themselves within three points of league-leading Minnesota with a win.

Carolina have been an odd team this season. They looked ok in an opening night draw with Indy, looked great when they thrashed Fort Lauderdale, and then looked like the worst team in the league against the Ottawa Fury. How they'll play on Saturday is anyone's guess at this point.

The Cosmos, on the other hand, have been looking better on the pitch despite their scorelines going in the wrong direction of late. If they can manage to finish some of their chances tonight, it's hard to picture anything but the RailHawks' best being enough to take points. Finishing has been an issue though, culminating last weekend at Hofstra. Let's hope that changes tonight.
