The NASL released their team of the week for week seven on Wednesday, and for the fifth time during the spring season, at least one New York Cosmos player made the list. This week's award winner was goalscorer Sebastian Guenzatti, who scored New York's only goal in their 1-1 draw with the Indy Eleven.
For Guenzatti, it was the first time this season that he's been named to the team of the week, and he becomes the sixth Cosmos' player to be recognized. Carlos Mendes, Ayoze, Hunter Freeman, Marcos Senna, and Mads Stokkelien have all made the team of the week previously. The week seven team is as follows:
