Tampa Bay Rowdies vs. New York Cosmos: Preview, viewing information, forecast, and more

The Cosmos title hopes were damaged with losses to Carolina and San Antonio, but they'll have a chance to stay in touch with the top of the table on Saturday

The Cosmos will look to make it back to back wins on Saturday evening in Florida, when they take on the Tampa Bay Rowdies. A win would assure that the club is no more than three points away from the top of the table at the end of week six, while a loss would leave the club needing quite a bit of help if they want to finish the spring atop the table.

From a big picture standpoint, this is a chance to start opening a gap between the Cosmos and one of the clubs that most pundits felt had a decent shot at challenging for a playoff space in 2014. It would be helpful if the offense showed some signs of life tonight though, as with the dream draw against Red Bull New York becoming reality yesterday, seeing some regular goals would certainly make Cosmos' fans feel a lot better about our chances in that tie.
