Curious how you're going to watch one of the NASL's traditional rivalries on Saturday? There are several options available when the New York Cosmos head to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Rowdies, but this week the Cosmos' game will be available to everyone with access to ESPN3.
Our last meeting with the Rowdies was probably the turning point in the 2013 fall season for both clubs. When Tampa held a 3-1 second half lead in that one, it looked as if they'd extend their lead atop the fall table and earn a trip to Atlanta for the Soccer Bowl. The Cosmos then mounted a sensational comeback to win 4-3, and followed that up with a sensational run to close the season that saw them comfortably top the table. With the Fort Lauderdale Strikers taking on Minnesota United this week, the match against Tampa could easily have the same sort of implications for both clubs.
Aside from ESPN3, this one will be streamed on NASL Live, who are still offering a free trial for the remainder of the spring season. The Cosmos will also be hosting a viewing party, the specifics of which can be found here.
