Twice a Cosmo finally launched on Monday, and one of the features I'm going to try to bring you every day is a bit of reading about what's going on in the world of soccer. I've decided to call this daily feature "Messing Around", and it will include news and links from around the NASL and MLS, occasional interesting stories about something else, and a video that may or may not have anything to do with the sport. Here's what I've got for you today:
Scorpions to host FC Dallas on March 1
The San Antonio side will welcome their in-state rivals about a month and a half before their season officially kicks off. San Antonio's roster has gone through quite a bit of turnover since last season came to an end, including one of the more interesting trades in recent memory.
Walker started his career at Newcastle United before joining the NASL. Walker played with San DIego during his time in the United States.
MLS Miami side to be announced on Wednesday
David Beckham will officially be announced as the owner of the newest MLS franchise on Wednesday, as the club will be located in Miami. Anyone think that we're likely to see better attendance numbers in Miami than we will with the Cosmos?
Jose Mourinho learns a new trick
If it's not Scottish, it's crap.
Video of the day
Most of you probably didn't live in an area where this ad was run during the Super Bowl, but it's worth watching
