The home side is listed first for all contests
With only nine games to be played during the first segment of the season, a fast start will be crucial. The Cosmos' opener will mark the third consecutive competitive match in which they've faced the Atlanta Silverbacks, after defeating them in both the fall season finale and the 2013 Soccer Bowl.
The Cosmos may have a slight advantage as the spring schedule unfolds, as five of their nine matches will be played in front of a friendly crowd. That's likely a good thing for the NASL, as New York's attendance figures will be expected to be among the largest in the league.
The winner of the 2014 spring season will earn a place in November's Soccer Bowl, as well as the right to host the game. The Soccer Bowl in NYC sounds fun, doesn't it?
