Senna happy to remain in NY, wants to win more titles

The 37-year old is looking forward to another year in New York, and sports some cool glasses when he's not on the pitch

Marcos Senna recently put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension, confirming that his stay with the Cosmos will last until at least July of 2015. Senna spoke with Cosmos TV to produce the above video, and seems genuinely excited about extending his stay in New York.

One of the interesting storylines of 2014 will be the way Gio Savarese manages Senna's minutes. Senna will turn 38 in July, and while he showed last autumn that he might be the best midfielder currently playing in the United States, maintaining that level of performance in a season twice as long will be a key to repeating as champions. Here's hoping Senna plays just as well in the second year of his deal as he did during the first.
