ONE World Sports is the television home of the New York Cosmos, and on Monday, the network announced that it will be available to a larger audience than it was before. The network sent out a press release confirming that they have signed an agreement with RCN Digital TV, which will see the network become available to RCN subscribers beginning on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
RCN is available in Boston, New York, Chicago,Philly, D.C., and the Lehigh Valley. ONE will be available on the Premier Sports Tier, in both SD (channel 393), and HD (channel 571).
I think it goes without saying that this is big news for the New York Cosmos, as well as the North American Soccer League. Being available in more mores will certainly help expose more potential fans to the Cosmos and the league, and will likely help with exposure for the new academy as well. Hopefully, ONE continues to expand, and becomes even more widely available shortly.
